- A medical check-up camp held by NRHM, Gandhinagar, where our students and staff received health screening and advice.
- A Youtube channel named ‘Samarth Vidyamandir / Vidyalay, Unchagaon East’, where we showcase the best activities of our students and staff. We encourage our students to share their talents, achievements, and experiences on this platform.
- An impressive SSC board exam result of 85%, where out of 40 students, 10 passed with distinction, 12 secured 1st class, 9 secured second class, and 3 performed well. We congratulate our students and teachers for their hard work and dedication.
- A warm welcome for the newly admitted students by a special cartoon character ‘Chhota Bheem’, who is a popular and inspiring hero for children. The students enjoyed the interaction and the gifts from the character.
- A participation in the ‘Har Ghar Triranga Abhiyan’, where the school conducted flag hoisting by ex-servicemen, widows, and dignitaries every day from 13th to 15th August 2022. The students learned about the significance and history of the national flag and the freedom struggle.
- A visit by senior educationist Mr. Ramesh Panse, who gave valuable guidance to the teachers and administrators on various aspects of school management and curriculum development. He also appreciated the efforts and achievements of our schools.
- A children’s theater workshop conducted by Kolhapur’s senior artist and well-wisher of the organization Mr. Sanjay Haldikar, who taught the students from class 4th to 10th various skills and techniques of theater and drama. The students gave a great response to it and performed skits and plays on various themes. Mr. Haldikar has been conducting children’s theater camps in various remote areas across the country for the last three decades.
- A district level volleyball tournament organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Services Maharashtra State, Pune and District Sports Officer Office, Kolhapur, held at Vishwa Varana Public School, Talsande. Our under 14 girls’ team of Samarth Vidyamandir won the title and qualified for the regional competition to be held at Sindhudurg. We are proud of our girls and their coach for their outstanding performance.
- A celebration of India’s 74th Republic Day in the school, where veteran author Mrs. Veena Dev and director of Nokari Sandarbh, Kolhapur Mr. Suhasraje Bhosale were the chief guests. They hoisted the flag and addressed the students and staff. They also distributed prizes and certificates to the meritorious students and teachers.
